Grace receives a priority position in the book of Galatians. This means that we are not made right and accepted in God's sight by keeping the law or any other set of rules. It also means that any man or woman--regardless of their history--can find acceptance before God and be welcomed into God's family. God's grace is experienced in our lives when we hear and respond in faith to the gospel message. That message centers on the work that Jesus did in delivering us from sin and this world, and also in dying to pay the penalty for our sin. The book ends with the good life that is ours now as we walk with God's Holy Spirit.
